FROM FOUNDATIONAL TO FRACTIONAL

It’s been a fast-moving start to the year at CCR. We’ve been delivering projects that transform our clients’ marketing and set them up for excellence – clarifying priorities, aligning teams, and building the frameworks that enable delivery.

Here is how we turned an urgent fix into long-term strategic impact.

The Challenge: A high-pressure website rescue

Our starting point was the pressing need to stabilise a website redevelopment for a global philanthropic arts organisation, with its complex international network and multiple funding programmes.

The Fix:

  • Architecture & Navigation: We rapidly resolved the site architecture to align with the organisation’s future direction, clarifying user journeys and simplifying navigation so the mission is immediately understandable.

  • Network Cohesion: We rethought how the network territories and partners appear, ensuring they are clearly structured, accessible and connected to the wider story of the organisation’s impact.

  • Platform Pivot: We recommended switching the web development platform. The result? The team now has full ownership, allowing them to update content quickly, respond to new developments in an agile way, and keep its extensive archive of supported projects visible, current and relevant.

The Strategic Pivot

By stepping in quickly, we turned a pressured delivery moment into a strategic opportunity. This foundational work – covering positioning, stakeholder audiences, and narrative direction – highlighted the need for stronger marketing structure and capability.

The Next Phase: Fractional support

With the foundations in place, we have moved into a fractional marketing support phase to expand and embed the work. Our current focus includes:

  • Social Media Strategy: Developing a strategic approach that connects the new website narrative to every digital touchpoint.

  • Definitive Brand Playbook: Articulating the mission, voice, and visual identity for consistency across channels, networks and audiences.

  • Workflow Optimisation: Streamlining internal processes and incorporating AI where it adds genuine value to speed up production but maintain quality.

  • Future Impact: Building towards a programme of launches and events later this year that will bring the refreshed narrative and brand to life.

The Takeaway: Urgent delivery moments often reveal deeper strategic needs. Once resolved, these drive the most lasting impact.
